At the , a team of scientists is developing a game-changing mobile platform — the Drone Dock — a refueling and reloading station designed for large drones that cover hundreds of acres at a time.

The fully automated spray drone platform took the grand prize, a $20,000 Innovation Award sponsored by Farm-ng and Western Growers, in the  earlier this year.
